The eight factors that rank local SEO are My Business Signal, External Location Signal, On-page Signal, Link Signal, Review Signal, Social Signal, Behavior Signal and Personalization. My Business Signal is Google My Business. To improve local SEO visit Google My Business and complete the verification in its entirety. The Internet Yellow Pages (IYP), citation volume and Data Aggregations are examples of an External Location Signal. Visit IYP and complete a profile of your website to increase citation volume or reference to a website. Also, visit Info group, Acxiom, nester, localize and factorial to rank a website with Data Aggregations. On-page Signal must remain constant whenever reported. This information includes but is not limited to name, business name, address, phone number and location. Link Signal are shared links with local businesses or institutions. Interview a local business owner or join a local event. For Review Signal, visit Google +, Trust Pilot and Feefo. Examples of Social Signals are tweets, retweets, shares and likes. Behavior Signal measures time, duration, frequency, type of access, click-through rate (ctr) and navigation paths of visitors to a website. Finally, Personalization ranks local SEO. The more personalization of the website the better. So, up-load as many pictures and as much content as possible!
